Pianist, composer, and multi-instrumentalist Skinny Hightower is one of contemporary jazz’s most prolific and dynamic forces. Rising from Wichita, Kansas, Hightower established his signature sound across acclaimed releases beginning with Cloud Nine (2016) and Blue Moon (2020) blending liquid acoustic piano technique with deep R&B, funk, and gospel roots. Known for his complete hands-on control, often writing, arranging, and producing entire records himself, Hightower bridges traditional contemporary jazz keyboard lineage with modern beat-making sensibilities, earning a reputation for pristine production and irresistible melodic craft.
